Sound an alarm when a VIP customer messages you on WhatsApp
WhatsApp lets you mute chats, not prioritise them. Your biggest customer and the family group make the same sound. This watch fixes that in one sentence.
Name the people, or describe them ("anyone from Acme", "customers on the Pro plan"). When one of them writes, OLL.E sounds an alarm and drafts a first response; the rest of WhatsApp stays as quiet as you've set it.

iPhone note. iOS doesn't let an app read other apps' notifications in the background, so on iPhone this watch needs OLL.E PinG, a keyring that relays them and rings on its own speaker. On Android nothing extra is needed.
Set it up
- Install OLL.E. On Android, grant notification access. On iPhone, pair the PinG keyring, which relays WhatsApp notifications to OLL.E.
- Tap Monitor Now and type the sentence with your VIP names or a description.
- Pick Alarm, then Draft a first response. On Android you can let OLL.E send an approved reply instead of drafting.
Questions about this watch
Does OLL.E connect to my WhatsApp account?
No. It reads WhatsApp's notifications on your phone, the same text you see on the lock screen, and nothing else. No WhatsApp login, no Business API.
Can it reply inside WhatsApp?
On Android, yes, through the notification's reply action, with a reply you approved or a short one that fits the message. On iPhone it drafts, you tap to send.
Does it work on iPhone?
With the PinG keyring. iPhone doesn't let apps read other apps' notifications in the background; PinG relays them and rings the alarm itself.
Will it ring for group chats?
Only if you ask it to. "VIP customers in direct chats only" keeps groups silent.
