Get a call or alarm 4 hours before anything added to today's calendar

The meeting you miss is the one someone added this morning while you were working. Calendar's reminder is a ten-minute banner, and banners get swiped.

This watch rings, hours ahead if you like, for anything that lands on today's calendar, and tells you what it's about: who's coming, what the invite says, and the last email about it.

Set it up

  1. Install OLL.E on any phone and connect Google Calendar (and Gmail, if you want the email context in the summary).
  2. Tap Monitor Now and type the sentence with your lead time and any filter: "client meetings only", "anything with more than 3 people".
  3. Pick Alarm or Phone call, then Summarise the meeting.

Questions about this watch

Isn't this what Calendar reminders do?

Calendar sends a notification at a fixed offset you set per event. This watch rings, applies to events you didn't create, handles "added today", and adds a summary. It also tells you when a meeting moves or is cancelled.

Can it add events to my calendar too?

Yes. Attach it to an email or message watch: when a client proposes a time, OLL.E can create the event and hold the slot while it drafts the reply confirming it. Change the lead time in the sentence, too: "call me 10 minutes before any client meeting" works the same way.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, fully. Calendar watches don't need the PinG keyring.

Which calendars?

Google Calendar today. Outlook and Apple Calendar are not live yet.
